What does it cost to book your wedding DJs?The cost of booking a wedding DJ varies depending on several factors, such as location, DJ availability, date, package, and the overall needs of the couple. For the Philadelphia & New York areas, couples can expect to spend an average of $2,800 to $3,500 on one of our wedding DJ's. Keep in mind that final pricing will depend on the specific details of your event and the services you require.

How far in advance should I book a wedding DJ?Ideally, you should book a wedding DJ 6-12 months in advance. This allows us to have our schedule properly mapped out and ensures that we can accommodate your desired date. However, some clients do choose to book sooner.

What is your DJ style?Our DJs presentation is stylish and professional. We are Open-Format groove-based DJs, which means we play many styles and genres and blend songs rhythmically so the beats match and guests can easily dance from song to song. Our goal is to creatively tell a story through music.

What music genres/styles do you play?Top 40, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, HipHop, R&B, Funk, Disco, Soul, Reggae, Dance Hall, Afrobeat, Soca, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Dembow, Reggaeton, Latin, House, EDM, Rock, Pop, and Indie.

How much do you normally tip a wedding DJ?Tipping a wedding DJ is at your discretion and based on your level of satisfaction with their performance & service leading up to the wedding. On average, clients tend to tip around 5% to 10% of the total cost.

What is your policy on cancellations, rescheduling, or refunds?Our policy requires a nonrefundable 30% deposit to hold the date for your event. In the case of cancellations within 6 months of the date, we require an additional 45% of the total payment due to loss of work. For rescheduling, we will work with you to find the best possible solution. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we strive to be flexible and accommodating whenever possible. We would only ever provide a refund if we are unable to provide the services originally booked.

Can I provide a list of specific songs or genres I want to be played at my wedding reception?Yes, we require couples to provide their likes & dislikes when it comes to music selection so we can customize our entertainment to your wedding. It's important to remember that you are hiring professionals who are skilled at reading the crowd and adapting to the atmosphere in the moment. Our goal is to create the perfect music experience for you and your guests.

How do you handle song requests from guests?We take into consideration the preferences of the couple, the demographic of the crowd, & time of the night to determine if a request should be honored or not. Our priority is to create a cohesive and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone while respecting the couple's wishes and the overall mood of the event.

Can you provide a full wedding band?While we do not offer a traditional wedding band, our clients find the DJ + Live Musician Hybrid exciting and memorable. The DJ + Musician Hybrid has the benefit of playing the original versions of your favorite songs with live layers added in when and where it sounds good. This is additionally more cost effective than hiring a large wedding band.

Can you provide music for the ceremony?Yes we provide music for the ceremony through our ALL DAY package and/or you can book live musicians for your ceremony.

Do you play music during cocktail hour?Yes, we do play music during the cocktail hour as part of our ALL DAY package.

What kind of lighting do you provide?We offer controllable uplights and tasteful dance floor lighting as an additional enhancement. Our goal is to create an elevated environment, and we avoid the use of lasers and heavy strobes. If you require additional or elaborate lighting, such as disco balls or club-style lighting, we have the ability to work with partner vendors to fulfill those needs.

Do your DJs MC and what is their style?Our wedding DJs serve as Event Hosts throughout the course of your celebration and will MC to make announcements and introductions in a tasteful and proper manner…”No gimmicks”. Our goal is to engage guests when needed without over-talking or feeling cheesy. We have the ability to match your vibe and vision in this category.

Can you accommodate special setups, like outdoor ceremonies or multiple locations at the wedding venue?Yes, we can accommodate various types of venues and setups, including outdoor ceremonies and multiple locations within the wedding venue.

How far do you travel for weddings and events?We've traveled as far as Italy for weddings and Colombia for nightclubs. If you have the vision and the budget, we can make it happen!
